8Days /7Nights Road  Package  to Aberdares-Samburu-Nakuru-Masai Mara

Day1: Nairobi- Aberdare National Park

Park located about 190 kilometers (3 hours drive). Depart Nairobi at 0800 Hours your drive takes you through the Kenyan Highlands, past pineapple and coffee plantations in Thika, Murang’a and Nyeri in Central Kenya.  Arrive at your base hotel.  Lunch at the base hotel.  1400hrs, transfer in the lodge vehicles  to the tree hotel within the Aberdares National Park with game viewing enroute.  Soft bags recommended as storage space is limited.  Aberdare National Park located only 17 Kilometers/ 11 Miles away.  Afternoon at leisure, with day and night game viewing from the hotel terrace facing the waterhole where animals come for a drink and saltlick.  Dinner and Overnight at the tree Lodge.

Day 2: Aberdare – Samburu Game Reserve

Breakfast at the tree lodeg.  0830hrs, departure in the lodge’s vehicle back to the base hotel.  Re-join your driver/guide for onward drive to Samburu Game Reserve located on the North rugged Semi arid region of Kenya (approximately 3.5hrs).  Samburu Game Reserve is well known for spectacular scenery and wildlife not found in the South.  These include The Reticulated Giraffe, the rare Grevy's Zebra with its large furry ears, the gerenuk antelope and Somali Ostriches.  Lunch upon arrival at the lodge then proceed on a late afternoon game drive.  Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Explore Samburu

Breakfast, full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon  game drives.  A chance to spot the Elephants, Cheetah, Leopard, Eland, Oryx, Impala, Dikdik, Waterbuck and a variety of birds. This lava plain includes a varied landscape of red dirt, thorn scrub, broken volcanic rock, dried riverbeds, steep hills and rocky outcroppings. Following the Uaso Nyiro river's curves, a forest of Doum Palms, Acacia and tamarind is a magical contrast of cool green.  Crocodiles sun bath themselves on the banks.   In between the game drives and time allowing is an opportunity to visit a Samburu village to see the locals way of life.  This is optional and is payable directly.  Lunch, dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp

Day 4: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park

Breakfast, departure for Lake Nakuru National Park via the picturesque Thompson falls (approximately 4 hours drive).  Descend into the Rift Valley, drive on the valley floor to arrive at the Lake Nakuru in time for lunch.  Afternoon game drive with an opportunity to view the World famous Flamingoes as well as over 400 other species of birds. In addition, visit the Rhino Sanctuary within the Park.  Other species of game found here include.   can be found in the Park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and White Rhino, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and a variety of plains game.  Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.    

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Early breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Masai Mara Game Reserve(approximately 5hrs drive)  . A pleasant drive across the dramatic Great Rift Valley brings you to Narok Township a Masai business centre. After a short stop over continue to Masai Mara Game Reserve on the murram road. This enormous Reserve is famous the spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the big Five — Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Cape Buffalo and Leopard.   Arrive in time for lunch.  Late afternoon game drive.  Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight. 

Day 6 & 7: Explore Masai Mara

Breakfast, full days in the Masai Mara exploring the vast Savannah plains in search of the Big Five.  Picturesque Cat Diary Savannah scenery abound. Among other resident game are the Masai Giraffe, Eland, Topi and thousands of plain Game including Impala, Zebra, both Thomson and Grant's Gazelles. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 8: Masai Mara — Nairobi

Breakfast, embark on the drive back to Nairobi.

After the excitement of these wonderful safari you can relax at one of the many beach properties on the Kenyan Coast.
