Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli
0630hrs, transfer to the Wilson domestic airport to check in for your flight to Amboseli departing at 0815hrs. 0855hrs, arrival at Amboseli airstrip. Met and transfer to the lodge/camp. Enjoy the soaring views of the legendary snows of Mount Kilimanjaro as you relax at the Lodge. Lunch and a late afternoon game drive with in the National Park. Spot the large herds of elephant and plentiful plains game against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the Lodge/camp for Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Amboseli
Full day spent in Amboseli with both morning and afternoon game drives. Towered over by the magnificent bulk of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,896 m), Africa's highest mountain, Amboseli is one of Kenya's oldest, famous and most-visited parks. It is dotted with emerald green swamps in which great herds of elephant wallow half submerged in the papyrus grass. The permanent marshlands also provide a potent draw to hippos and buffaloes, while offering a haven for the abundant water birds. On the plains are numerous antelopes, spotted hyenas, jackals, warthogs, olive baboons and vervet monkeys. Observation Hill, a conical peak, which is easily climbed, offers stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi – Samburu
0630hrs, early breakfast. 0730hrs, transfer to the airstrip for flight back to Nairobi departing at 0905hrs. On arrival at Wilson airport, an immediated flight connection on to Samburu Game Reserve departing at 1020hrs. Samburu is located in the Northern rugged Semi arid region of Kenya . 1130hrs arrival at the Samburu airstrip. Met and transferred to the lodge/camp for lunch. Samburu Game Reserve is well known for spectacular scenery and wildlife not found in the South. These include The Reticulated Giraffe, the rare Grevy's Zebra with its large furry ears, the gerenuk antelope and Somali Ostriches. Lunch upon arrival at the lodge then proceed on a late afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Samburu Game Reserve
Breakfast, full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. A chance to spot the Elephants, Cheetah, Leopard, Eland, Oryx, Impala, Dikdik, Waterbuck and a variety of birds. This lava plain includes a varied landscape of red dirt, thorn scrub, broken volcanic rock, dried riverbeds, steep hills and rocky outcroppings. Following the Uaso Nyiro river's curves, a forest of Doum Palms, Acacia and tamarind is a magical contrast of cool green. Crocodiles sun bath themselves on the banks. In between the game drives and time allowing is an opportunity to visit a Samburu village to see the locals way of life. This is optional and is payable directly. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge/cam.
Day 5: Samburu – Masai Mara
Early Morning Breakfast , check out and transfer to Samburu Airstrip for your flight to Masai Mara departing at 0930hrs. 1100hrs, arrive at the Masai Mara Airstrip. You will be met at the Airstrip and transferred to the lodge/camp to check in. This enormous Reserve is famous the spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the big Five — Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Cape Buffalo and Leopard. Relax until time for lunch. The afternoon cools down to give way to your late afternoon game drive in this grand Game Reserve.
Day 6 & 7: Masai Mara
Breakfast, full days in the Masai Mara exploring the vast Savannah plains in search of the Big Five. Picturesque Cat Diary Savannah scenery abound. Among other resident game are the Masai Giraffe, Eland, Topi and thousands of plain Game including Impala, Zebra, both Thomson and Grant's Gazelles. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
Day 8: Masai Mara – Nairobi – Zanzibar
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before proceeding to the Airstrip for your 1100hrs flight back to Nairobi . 1215hrs arrive at the Wilson Airport .
